Our association is dedicated to encouraging organ donation to achieve domestic self-sufficiency and promoting legislative reforms in line with international transplant ethics standards. The 2015 amendment to the “Human Organ Transplantation Act” was passed and implemented, marking a significant step forward for Taiwan’s organ transplant environment.

This amendment explicitly bans illegal organ transplant tourism, bringing long-overdue attention to the issue of “overseas transplant tourism,” which had persisted in Taiwan for over a decade. We spare no effort in helping the public understand the profound significance of organ donation and the ethical knowledge surrounding organ transplantation.

Over the years, through various international exchanges, we have promoted medical ethics and humanitarian care, earning Taiwan international acclaim. Along the way, we have faced numerous challenges but have also received widespread support and encouragement from those who stand for justice.
